How do you find your Submission?

Today I was blog reading and came across a new blog http://ownedcollaredloved.blogspot.com/

I found it quite interesting. It is of a young girl who made a decision with her high school boyfriend to live the D/s lifestyle at the age of 18.

I think that is great if you know what your getting into and truly know this is how you will live. It took my 36 years to figure out that giving up control would liberate my life. I was married once and had a long term boyfriend and in both relationships I fought for control. I tried to control what couldn’t be controlled. I hated my living situation. So one day on the computer I was looking for porn that would feed into my fetish of spanking and such. And I came across a web site that was all about people in alternative lifestyles. ( more like a forum) Wow, how interesting… I then looked up all I could about being submissive and what it meant to them. Was this what I was looking for? So I did something crazy and placed an ad on Craigslist looking for a Dominant. I don’t recommend doing this for the first time but it did give me pretty good incite into the lifestyle. Eventually I met Master C who taught me a lot. My blog was in full swing and my web site http://reinartsubmissjourney.blogspot.com/ has become a lot of fun.

I guess you never stop learning about yourself but if I were to give anyone advice…I would say do what your heart is telling you. For me the act of submission is a gift to the person I care about and for the hope of his understanding my gift.

  1. I was someone who entered a 24/7 D/s relationship at a young age. I left home at 16 (read Jessica's coming out on my blog for details..8-22-09) and moved in with my ex girlfriend Sarah. I felt she was there for me when my parents were not and when she asked me to serve her 24/7 I said yes. I did this for three years until sadly she passed away. I haven't been in that type of relationship since but it was an important part of my life. It helped me grow into the person I am today.

As for putting up links there is an option in the toolbar when your drafting/writing your post.
