Before Death

Do you tell your beloved that he or she is exceptional?

If you were to die today, would your last moments be spent regretting that you had not sufficiently expressed your love and appreciation for those you love, or would you at least have the comfort of knowing that those you leave behind know how much you love and appreciate them? Would you be regretting not having done everything in your power to have the best relationship possible? Or would you at least know that none of the time you had had together was wasted?

How about yourself? If you are not happy in your romantic situation would you change your dynamic. Would you leave them or try to change the relationship? Is this how you would lead your life to the end?

I am in a chatty mood today. Tonight is Deadliest Catch night. Just a little reminder to all those Catch fans out there.

  1. I think we all have stones unturned and unattended to. all you can do is make sure that the important people in your life know you care and appreciate them. Today could be the last day for any of us.

What i change my current dynamic? Well...that is an ongoing series on my blog called "Decisions". you'll have to keep following to see. :)

I do like "Catch". You couldn't pay me enough money to do what they do and endure. It is very interesting to watch though.

  2. One of my biggest pet peeves are when people are more than willing to bitch and whine about the way things are, but not willing to do anything about it. I just drives me nuts. There are many things I don't like about myself and there were many things I didn't like about my relationships. So I changed the things I didn't like or learned to like them anyway. (Somethings you just can't change)

One of the things I'm working on changing is how often I tell others what they mean to me. I recently had someone I love pass away, and I can't remember when the last time they told me they loved me was. What's worse is that I can't remember the last time I actually told them I loved them. The lack of that memory will be with me forever, because of that I make a point to let people know how much they mean to me.

My hope is that when I go, even if someone can't remember when they told me that they loved me, at least they'll know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I loved them.
